Serving Amid the Stars

Thursday January 30th, 2020

Park City’s famed bars, lounges, and restaurants will keep serving locals and tourists alike during the film festival.

Chefs may be the new celebrities, but they’re not forgetting about us non-glitterati when Tinseltown takes over Park City.

Even as the stars of the silver screen shut down Main Street, Park City’s world-famous restaurants will stay open to the public through the Sundance Film Festival, which this year runs Thursday, Jan. 23, through Sunday, Feb. 2.

“Whether you’re the new documentaries on Taylor Swift or the Go-Go’s, the features about Brooklyn hipsters or a Palm Springs rom-com, or just steering clear of the festival entirely, our restaurants’ local tastemakers and auteurs are still here to welcome you for a great meal through the festival,” said Ginger Wicks, executive director of the Park City Area Restaurant Association. “We’d love to have you join us this festival season.”

The Alpine Pie Bar

The Alpine Pie Bar will be closed Thursday, January 23rd – Sunday, January 26th and will reopen to the public on Monday, January 27th.

The Alpine Pie Bar is open Monday through Sunday from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. serving craft cocktails, award-winning spirits and locally made pie in a speakeasy bar. The Alpine Pie Bar was awarded Utah’s Best Casual Eatery by Lux Life and for the second year in a row Utah Distillery of the Year. Alpine's main distillery is in Silver Creek and their micro-distillery, for the world-renowned gin experience, is located in the Pie Bar.
