HISTORIC PARK CITY MUSEUM OFFERS MONTHLY FREE DAYS, SUMMER WALKING TOURS & HISTORY SPEAKS LECTURE SERIES
PARK CITY, UTAH (April 25, 2022) – The Historic Park City Alliance (HPCA) invites locals and visitors to witness and pay homage to how it all began at the world-class Park City History Museum. From Park City’s booming silver mining days to its rise as a world-renowned ski destination, the beloved museum offers personalized programs and offerings to inform curious visitors of Park City’s rich history.
“For learners of all ages and the most inquisitive history buffs, the Park City History Museum offers a wide variety of learning experiences suited for every visitor,” explains Historic Park City Museum Executive Director Morgan Pierce. “Our priceless artifacts, interactive displays, extensive research library and robust collection of educational programs give guests premiere access to Park City’s storied past and how its foundation will guide us into a history-making future.”
Open daily from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at 528 Main Street, the Park City History Museum exists to preserve, protect and promote Park City’s rich history and proud heritage. Exhibits trace settlers’ stories back to the Western frontier, and dig deep to reveal 19th century mining equipment, Park City’s historic underground jail, and the world’s only “Skier Subway.” Learn about Park City’s colorful past and how the community continues to reinvent itself through a number of programs, events and guided tours. Museum Free Days
Great for locals, day-trippers or seasonal visitors, guests can enjoy free admission the third Saturday of each month to explore the museum’s interactive exhibits and education programs.
Guided Summer Walking Tours

Explore Historic Main Street and learn about the architecture, people and notable events of Park City’s unique history, from the mining boom town to the world-class ski destination.
History Speaks Lectures
The Park City History Museum’s free educational lecture series features different speakers in a variety of formats including panel discussions, live public radio broadcasts, performances by musicians, and captivating lectures by historians, authors and curators.
