For the last several years, we’ve compiled a round up filled with a few of our favorite summer activities in Park City. Generally, we schedule this blog post for late May after we’ve had some time to rest from the winter season and finish up some spring cleaning. This year, we started noticing an interest in summer content in February, so we thought maybe we should bump up our round up of summer musts. Evidentially, you all have summer on the mind. You ask and we deliver. Keep reading for the definitive list of musts for 2017 summer on Main Street.

Dine Al Fresco. In our minds, it isn’t summer dining if it isn’t al fresco. Fortunately, Park City agrees and local restaurateurs created a creative solution to a lack of outdoor dining space. By early June, you’ll see dining decks line Main Street allowing guests to enjoy Park City’s perfect summer weather without having to take a break from the fresh air.

We can’t talk about outdoor dining in Park City without mention of the ultimate outdoor dining party, Savor the Summit. Believe it or not, restaurants are already taking reservations for the June 17, 2017 soiree, and they will sell out. Head over to to start planning your 2017 Savor.

Enjoy Art. Historic Park City is somewhat of an art mecca. From performing art at a number of venues, to fine art and more than 20 galleries we’ve said it before and we’ll say it again your sure to find your flavor on Historic Main Street. With that in mind, we have a few recommendations –

Attend a show or two at the Historic Egyptian Theatre. A town of Park City’s is incredibly fortunate to have a theatre of this caliber book a performance nearly every weekend of the year.

We couldn’t write about art without mention of the Annual Kimball Arts Festival. The 48th Annual event is scheduled for August 4 – 6, 2017. The three-day festival features more than 200 artists and entertainment and serves as the Kimball Arts Center largest fundraiser.

Get Outside. You may have heard Park City’s summer weather is idyllic. Get outfitted for any number of outdoor activities on Main Street with a plethora of outdoor shops and adventure providers. Escape the hustle and bustle and let the Town Lift carry you to the top of Park City Mountain.

Grab a drink. Is it just me or does summertime taste better with a High West Lemonade, a Wasatch Hefe, or a glass of crisp Mountain Town White from Old Town Cellars. Don’t be fooled. You can get a drink or two in Utah.

Your backdrop for Park City events. Get silly at the Park Silly Sunday Market June 4 – September 17. Celebrate America at the Annual 4th of July Parade. Stroll the Last Friday Gallery Stroll each month.

There is no shortage of musts to do each summer in Park City. What is on your list for summer fun?
