Do you suffer from the midweek blues? Here in Historic Park City, weekdays don’t have to be a bore. In fact, each day of the week can be filled with activity and excitement in addition to Park City's best shopping, dining, and arts and culture.. This week, we are sharing daily suggestions of ways to spend your days, beat those weekday blues, and make every day as exciting as a weekend.

Monday: Learn About Park City’s Historic Past

Did you know Park City used to be a mining town? How did a town built on prospecting end up  home to the 2002 Winter Olympics? Spend your Monday at the Park City Museum, located at 528 Main Street, and be immersed in the past. The museum is perfect for families, as kids can become “Park City History Detectives;” an activity that guides the whole family through the exhibits. Group Tours are available if you call in advance.

Tuesday: Visit The Paint Mixer

The Paint Mixer, located at 738 Main Street, is a wine and paint studio. You can pop in for Open Studios, where you’re free to paint whatever you like, or choose from a selection of featured paintings with written instructions. On most other nights, The Paint Mixer’s Lead Artist will teach you how to paint like a professional. Wine and beer are available, but be sure to check their calendar, as some classes are 21 and over only.

Wednesday: Look Into the Future, Friday is Almost Here!

Park City Psychic and Astrology, at 314 Main Street, is a place to let your mind wander and your palms be read. This Astrology boutique offers Astrology, Tarot, Psychic and Clairvoyant readings. Whether you’re a skeptic or not, you’re sure to come away from the experience with a new perspective.

Thursday: Escape to the Weekend

Escape Room Park City, located at 136 Heber Avenue, is a test of your wits. They currently have three themed rooms: The Travel Room, The Parlor, and Mine Trap (a Park City original). In each room, you’re faced with obstacles, puzzles, and riddles that you must solve to escape before time runs out! You may book larger groups in advance, reserve a private room, or play with other patrons and make some new friends.

Friday: Time to Imbibe

There is no shortage of places to eat and drink on a Friday night in Park City. Stop by 350 Main to experience a cool new gin experience at Alpine Distilling. At Alpine Distiling’s gin experience, you’ll receive a 750ml bottle of custom gin, along with a 4 course meal, a tasting, and a guided aroma sensory experience. Reservations are required. Or head over to High West Distillery for a whiskey tour and tasting. For anyone who doesn’t wish to drink, all these places have great food and delicious non-alcoholic options.

And just like that, the weekend is back! What are your favorite things to do on weekdays in Park City?
