One of Historic Park City’s most recent artistic additions is Gallery MAR, billed as “Park City’s Freshest Art Gallery.” Gallery MAR’s guests enjoy an inviting atmosphere in a modern setting on Main Street, the hub of Park City’s artistic community.

Both emerging and seasoned collectors are welcome to discover fine contemporary art spanning from detailed still life works to abstracted landscapes and whimsical figurative pieces. It is the exquisite, non-commercial artwork and individualized customer service that keep visitors coming back. This Main Street Gallery is the brainchild of owner Maren Bargreen, 2009’s Park City Women's Business Network’s “Woman of the Year.”

Bargreen says about her gallery: “my artists and clients expect and deserve the best from me every day and it's my job to exceed their expectations every time.” She indeed has big ideas for the future: the long-term plan is to open more MAR galleries in other states.

The gallery contributes to, volunteers for and works in conjunction with several Park City non-profit groups. "I open up my gallery for non-profits to host events, at no cost to them, to better utilize the gallery space and give back. It's my goal to host at least one a month, and I'm proud to say that so far I've met that goal," she said.

Because Gallery MAR features emerging artists, you will find some of the best values in fine art on Main Street. When you collect a piece from Gallery MAR, you can be the lucky one to say, “I discovered this artist first!”
