When it comes to celebrating holidays (especially smaller ones), Park City knows how to do it right. If you’ve ever been to the 4th of July festivities on Main Street and in City Park, you know what we mean.
We apply the same tactics to our Halloween festivities. It’s something about the small town, historic charm, combined with people who get really into it that makes holidays in Park City memorable. Head to Main Street on Halloween and see for yourself. The costumes for adults, children, and pups will blow you away!
So, if you want to be a part of it this year (and why wouldn’t you?), here’s a rundown of what’s happening, when and where:
Carrie the Musical at the Egyptian Theatre (Oct. 27 -29) - The musical version of Stephen King’s novel first ran in 1988 and has now been reworked and re-imagined. For three nights only, Carrie the Musical will be performed at the Egyptian Theatre!
A Tim Burton Weekend at Flanagan’s on Main (Oct. 28-31) - When it comes to Halloween, Tim Burton gets it. So if you’re looking for a fun night out on Main Street, Flanagan’s will be showing Tim Burton movies every night the weekend of Halloween. There will also be drink specials, live music, and of course some spooky decor!
Spirits and Spirits Halloween Costume Ball at O.P. Rockwell (Oct. 28) - Just because you’re an adult now, doesn’t mean you should give up your costumes. In addition to the costume contest, live music from Park City’s best party band, Rage Against the Supremes will be playing, and of course there will be specialty drinks served all night long!
Halloween Themed Painting Session at the Paint Mixer (Oct. 21-22, Oct. 28-31) - Every session at the Paint Mixer is fun, but for two weekends in October, they’ll be theming their classes for Halloween. They have kid-friendly classes and adults-only classes where beer and wine is served! Full schedule.
Halloween on Main Street (Oct. 31) - This has become a favorite for Park City locals over the years. Bring your kids to Main Street from 3:00-5:00 to trick-or-treat at the local shops lining the street, and at 5:00, the famous Dog Parade strolls down Lower Main Street!
Fall in our little mountain town is beautiful but doesn’t stick around for long, so dress your whole family up and head to Historic Park City to celebrate Halloween this year!
