1. Tell us about yourself.
My name is Gabe Anderson and I am an avid skier, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Purple belt and Entrepreneur. After opening our first boutique in Denver, Colorado we started looking for a second location. Park City was a place that we had on our short list of potential cities. We visited to look at real estate and Main Street was very active. We felt we had a very unique offering that the street was missing.
2. Why Historic Park City?
Our business is based in Denver, Colorado, but we are a lifestyle brand rooted in snow and therefore had a number of customers in the Utah area that would buy online from us. The Historic District has such unique character to it and the foot traffic that it brings is diverse and global. Add in the Sundance Film Festival every January and our decision was even easier.
3. Favorite Historic Park City moment?
The first time our company went to Sundance Film Festival in January of 2012, my wife was pregnant and came out with a bunch of her friends. Having them there and meeting all kinds of new people, many of which we still keep in touch with, was really fun.
4. Top 3 Historic Park City businesses and why?
- No Name Saloon: Zesty Red Bell Buffalo Burger is a must have while in town
- Prospect: Good people and great selection for men and women’s clothes
- Java Cow: I don’t drink coffee but I love to choose from their assortment of snack items
5. Anything else you would like to share?
I am rarely in town but our store Manager Justin “Goost” Allen holds it down at the store most of the time. If you ever want to have some indepth conversations about any fashion labels, street culture, or skating he is your man. We are very lucky to have Goost as a shop manager and resource.
