6. Tell us about yourself.

I grew up in St. Louis, MO where most of my family still resides. I moved away from home and first started working out of San Francisco, CA. I began coming to Park City in 1995 for the Sundance Film Festival and fell in love with the town. Eventually, I moved here full time in 2003 after building a home in Old Town and spending almost every weekend flying here to get away from the big city. I am a dog lover at heart and moved from San Francisco with my pug sidekick - Clyde. Clyde was a store fixture for the first 9 years at Mary Jane’s. I “upsized” and now have an amazingly loving and large Golden Doodle named Wendell. I love traveling, dining out, hiking with Wendell, and a night out dancing!

7. Tell us about your business.

Mary Jane’s has been catering to the women of Park City since 2003. We began as a shoe boutique and quickly evolved to encompass all things women love such as clothing, handbags and lingerie. We continue to evolve as fashion and design tastes change.

8. Top 3 Historic Park City Businesses (other than yours) and why?

Uptown Fare – best egg salad sandwich … hands down! I would go there for lunch every day if I could.
Rooted – I love the décor and furniture in this shop. It is like a gallery of home furnishings.
Gallery Mar and Terzian Gallery – I love contemporary art and enjoy seeing the changing exhibits and shows.

9. Describe the perfect Historic Park City day.

Any day that starts with a huge cup of coffee works for me. I especially like Atticus and Publik Coffeehouses. Feeling energized, I would take a walk through the district ending at City Park where Wendell can play with the other dogs or chase frisbees and softballs. After that, lunch at an outdoor location such as Café Terigo to soak up the sun would be perfect. I would then take a quick soak in the hot tub late in the day and head back to Main Street for cocktails and dinner. Some of my favorites are Prime, Riverhorse and Shabu. The perfect end to the evening would be a couple of songs on the dance floor at Silver!
