What is your name? Deborah Lewis

What is the name of your business? Park City Chamber/Visit Park City

Where are you from? Orange County, California

How many years have you been in Park City? 21 years

  1. How many years have you been on Main Street?

The Visitor Center, operated by the Park City Chamber, has been partnering with the Park City Museum for over 25 years, I believe.

  2. Tell us about yourself.

I’ve been with the Park City Chamber since 1997 where I started in the international sales and marketing department. From there I moved into the Meetings and Convention Sales and Marketing department. Finally, in 2004, I moved over to visitor services.

My husband, Steve and I moved to Park City from Salt Lake in 1993. Our two adult daughters attended the public school in Park City, and Steve and I are still in the same home we built in 1993 in Jeremy Ranch. We now enjoy our home and neighborhood with our two active dogs.

My husband is a native Utahn, while I moved to Utah for the lifestyle. Skiing brought me to Utah after college following a half year stint traveling Europe. I worked at Snowbird for one ski season and decided that there was so much more to explore in Utah. So I stayed. I love all of the outdoor experiences – all over this state -- but over the years have focused on skiing, biking, hiking, and camping. I love how involved our community is in charitable giving of time, talent and resources. I also love how we live in this mountain resort community that has close access to city life and our airport.

  3. Tell us about your business.

We provide visitor services to the thousands of visitors who come from all over the world. My staff of nine part-time visitor information specialists wears multiple hats helping with visitor services, museum store sales and introductions to our wonderful history museum on Main Street.

  4. Describe the perfect Historic Park City day.

Shopping, dinner and ending with a performance at the Egyptian…maybe a post-performance drink at one of our many, fun bars!

  5. Anything else you would like to share?

Thanks for asking me to participate!
