You’ve probably heard the buzz around town lately; Outside Magazine has named Park City the best place to live in Park City. Needless to say, we are very proud of this designation. We’ve known it all along, but to have Outside Magazine, a publication we love and trust, confirm it is unbelievably exciting for Park City.
We couldn’t have asked for better timing for the news to come out. On the heels of the 44th Annual Kimball Arts Festival and immediately before the Tour of Utah rolled into town, Park City has been buzzing. Residents and visitors to Park City have been treated to world-class events hosted on our charming Main Street all summer, and it is not over yet.
- The Park Silly Sunday Market returns to lower Main Street this Sunday through Sunday, September 22.
- The 116th Miner’s Day parade and festivities take place on Monday, September 2.
- The “Mail Call” exhibit continues at the Park City Museum through October 20.
- The line-up at the Egyptian continues to excite.
Oh, and Main Street boutiques, restaurants and galleries are open! Sales are starting to pop up across many of the boutiques as the time to make room for winter clothing, shoes and accessories nears. I’ve seen Mary Jane’s and Panache announce some incredible deals over the last few days. As local produce reaches the highlight of the season, you can expect to find local chefs letting their creativity shine with fresh, local ingredients. And, of course, the monthly Gallery Stroll returns the final Friday of the month.
Park City is the best place to live in America. Why? Because of the people and activities we have at our fingertips daily. If you aren’t a Park City local, join us for a day, a weekend or a long vacation; you may decide to become a resident.
