Park City's premier summer events return to Historic Main Street this season. The 0.8-mile stretch of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants will host music performances, arts festivals, outdoor dinner parties and much more.

The summer calendar of events includes:

Locals' Thursdays - Thursdays through June 21
Free parking on Main Street every Thursday.

Kids Day - May 11
Take the family downtown Saturday, May 11, for a wide variety of kid-friendly activities like pizza making, cookie decorating and theatre production, all hosted by the establishments along Main Street. Parents can sit back, sip a cup of coffee or tea, and know that they have an afternoon where the activities are already taken care of.

Park Silly Sunday Market - June 9, 16, 23, and 30; July 7, 14, 21 and 28; Aug. 11, 18, and 25; and Sept. 2, 8, 15 and 22.
Celebrating its sixth year on Historic Main Street, the Park Silly Sunday Market is an eco-friendly, open-air market and street festival. The market features regional and local one-of-a-kind finds, gourmet foods and farmers' market fruits and vegetables. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Summer Gallery Strolls - June 28, July 26, Aug. 30 and Sept. 27
On the last Friday of every month, members of the Park City Gallery Association will offer a free showcase of acclaimed artists, special exhibits and art events. The stroll takes place from 6 to 9 p.m.

Savor the Summit - June 22
Summer kicks off in Park City with The Grande Table during Savor the Summit. Park City's longest dinner party is a unique celebration of food, drink and live music in the middle of Main Street and highlights the best culinary talents from local restaurants. Eateries taking part in the event can choose to reserve either a 50-foot or 100-foot length of Main Street. Main Street and Heber Avenue close at 2 p.m.; the dinner runs from 4 to 10 p.m.

Fourth of July
The annual parade starts at the top of Main Street at 11 a.m., with entertainment following in City Park. Main Street closes at 9:30 a.m.

Park City Food and Wine Classic Stroll - July 12
Master winemakers, culinary greats, distinguished guests and food lovers come together to celebrate food and wine. Various Main Street restaurants and shops will serve wine and hors d'oeuvres during the Stroll of Park City Grand Tasting, as well as winemakers' dinners at restaurants throughout Park City. Triple Crown Softball Parades - July 15 and 22
Two parades take to Main Street for Triple Crown Softball. The first week's parade on July 15 will be held on upper Main Street, and the second parade July 22 will take place on lower Main Street. Each runs from 6 to 7 p.m.

Classic Car Show - July 27
More than 65 classic cars will be on display on lower Main Street, between 7th and 9th streets. That portion of Main Street closes at 8 a.m., and the event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Park City Kimball Arts Festival - Aug. 2, 3 and 4
The annual Kimball Arts Festival will feature art exhibits along Main Street. The exhibition takes place at 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. www.kimball-art.org

Tour of Utah - Aug. 11

Miner's Day Celebration - Sept. 2
Miner's Day begins with the famous “Running of the Balls,” followed by the Miner's Day parade at 11 a.m. on Main Street and activities in City Park. Main Street closes at 9:30 a.m. www.parkcityrotary.org
