It's summertime and the living is easy! Here in Park City, we often say summer officially begins with Savor the Summit. This year, with cold temperatures through most of June, we Parkites are as ready as we’ve ever been for summer.

Summer in Park City means al fresco dining on street decks, outdoor music nearly seven nights a week, and of course a full calendar of events many of which call Historic Main Street home. Whether you are looking to see and be seen, to support local artisans and creators, or follow along the world’s best cyclers, we have something for you.

Park Silly Sunday Market Sundays* through September 22

The Park Silly Sunday Market is an eco-friendly, open-air market and street festival. The market features regional and local one-of-a-kind finds, gourmet foods and farmers’ market fruits and vegetables. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Gallery Stroll

Last Fridays, Monthly (June 28, July 26, August 30)

Hosted by the Park City Gallery Association, the Last Friday Gallery Stroll, is a fun (and free) monthly community event dedicated to highlighting artists and special exhibits at art galleries throughout town. 

Mountain Town Music at Miner’s Plaza

Saturdays, June 29 – August 24 shows at 1:30 & 3:30

The Miner’s Park Stage is an intimate stage located in a pocket park in the center of the Park City’s historic Main Street District. Surrounded by all that Main Street has to offer, this stage gives the community and visitors the opportunity to enjoy an afternoon of singer songwriters, string bands and jazz ensembles all while also enjoying picturesque Main Street Park City.

4th of July Parade and Festivities

It’s been called the best small town 4th of July in America, and if you’ve attended you know why. The day begins with a fun run to support the local ski team and ends with fireworks over Park City Mountain. The parade begins on Main Street at 11:00 am. And is followed by a party in City Park. It’s a non-stop day filled with American pride and small town charm. Pro Tip – After the parade visit one of Historic Park City’s restaurants for lunch to cool down and take a rest. You don’t want to run out of energy too early.

50th Annual Kimball Arts Festival –

August 2-4, 2019

The 50th Annual Park City Kimball Arts Festival, presented by Park City Hospital, takes place on Historic Main Street and serves as the primary fundraiser for the Kimball Art Center. Pro Tip – The Kimball Art Center is “Freeing the Fest” for Summit County Locals, but you must register in advance to take advantage. Details at

Tour of Utah

The Larry H. Miller Tour of Utah is a seven-day, world-class professional cycling race along the scenic byways of Utah. Nearly a decade since its opening circuit, the Tour of Utah stands shoulder to shoulder with the most prestigious professional bicycle stage race events. Racers spend seven days gaining more than 43,000 feet of elevation along the 536 mile course.

Autumn Aloft Candlestick

September 14, 2019

Autumn Aloft is a hot air balloon festival held in Park City. The event will feature up to 24 hot air balloons and will include Saturday and Sunday morning launch events at the N40 Fields off Kearns BLVD and a candlestick event on Saturday night set on Park City’s Historic Main Street.
