The Crosby Collection is a Park City original. And while Bing and Vickie Crosby, the owners, aren’t originally from Park City they have grown to love the town and call it home.
Bing Crosby started in Native American Jewelry sales in the 1950s while working at his parents’ restaurant in Albuquerque. The restaurant was the last stop on Route 66 as travelers headed west out of town. He understood the craftsmanship and value of the jewelry and saved his money to purchase pieces to sell to the tourists. Since then Bing has become an expert in the field and the collection in their store is personally picked by Bing himself. Bing is open with sharing his knowledge and expertise with visitors. His love for the art, jewelry and crafts often inspires new collectors.
His wife Vickie is immersed in the business as well and represents the business at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo where they are one of the main exhibitors for the six week event. Between this large event, their two stores on Main Street and their location at the Salt Lake City Airport, you’d think Bing and Vickie wouldn’t have the time to spend with visitors to the store. Not so, they do all this and more because, simply put, they love what they do.
