Geoffrey Gersten: New Works at Gallery MAR

Gallery MAR presents Geoffrey Gersten's first exhibition with the gallery, New Works. Gersten's paintings are inspired by the nostalgic objects of everyday American life. Vintage matchbooks, bottle caps, classic toys, and advertising memorabilia become the subjects of striking large-scale oil paintings that transform ordinary keepsakes into extraordinary works of art. New Works showcases Gersten's latest collection, inviting viewers to rediscover the simple pleasures of the past through paintings that are both nostalgic and refreshingly contemporary. This opening reception gives guests an opportunity to experience Geoffrey Gersten's remarkable new work.
