Festive window displays are adorned with holiday scenes, and the perfect gift awaits inside the doors of local merchants as preparations are set for Small Business Saturday on Nov. 30, 2024. Main Street’s official Holiday Tree Lighting will take place at 5:30 p.m. to light the historic walkway and usher in the holiday season.

Visitors are encouraged to spend Small Business Saturday on Main Street perusing, shopping, and dining with the historic district’s local businesses. Festive performances by holiday musicians will be held throughout the day, setting a joyful soundtrack for guests of all ages. The official lighting of the tree and Main Street’s festive holiday lights will take place at 5:30 p.m. in Miner’s Park.

While leisurely roaming up and down Main Street, visitors can experience the magic of Main Street this winter with the Snow Globe Stroll Scavenger Hunt. Take a stroll along Main Street November 28 – January 3 and explore seven life-sized snow globes decorated by local artists, each designed to bring a little extra wonder to your holiday season. Every globe contains hidden items—can you find them all? Whether you're with friends, family, or exploring solo, enjoy the festive atmosphere as you hunt for hidden treasures within each globe. Visitors can also cast their votes in the Holiday Window Display Contest. Businesses will showcase their unique wintry holiday storefronts, and a public vote will decide the winner that will be announced on Dec. 14.

Santa will be doing a trial run the week before the Christmas holiday and will make an appearance coming down Park City’s Town Lift on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 5 p.m. Kids can drop their letters to Santa in Santa’s Mailbox at Miner’s Park by Dec. 22 to ensure all wishes arrive to the North Pole in time.

Save the date for the Grand Menorah Lighting in Miner’s Park on Dec. 25 at 5:30 p.m. to celebrate the first night of Hannukah, and the Menorah Parade on Dec. 28 at 7 p.m. The parade will start at the top of Main Street and proceed downhill, following Main Street to Park Avenue, and ending at Miner’s Hospital.

There's More on Main holiday flyer listing the season's events: the Snow Globe Stroll scavenger hunt from November 28 to January 3, Small Business Saturday and the Main Street tree lighting on November 30, the holiday window display contest, the Santa Pub Crawl on December 7, Santa's Town Lift appearance on December 21, the menorah lighting on December 25 and the menorah parade on December 28
