It is our pleasure to introduce the Historic Park City Alliance (HPCA). Snug in the base of the Wasatch Mountains at 7000 feet, Historic Park City is home to more than 250 unique businesses, restaurants and shops located in and around the town's renowned Main Street. The goal of HPCA is to showcase Park City's vibrant, active Historic District and provide locals and visitors with a community gathering spot. With the help of HPCA, an alliance of small-business owners, Historic Park City has seen tremendous growth as a central hub for Park City tourism, commerce and history in recent years.

Filming In Historic Park City

Park City's Main Street is highly desirable as a backdrop and with Park City's increasing national and international exposure. Listed below are guidelines for you to consider when looking to film along Main Street. Please note that there are extensive infrastructure improvements being constructed each spring, summer and fall and may restrict certain sections for use.

  • No closures of sidewalks

  • Tuesday and Wednesdays are preferred days for filming.

  • No filming on weekends

If a production company wished to film outside these guidelines, the HPCA would be happy to review the request once an application is filed with Park City Municipal Corporation. Please visit their website for the application and other pertinent information.
