SKI BUM ON THE RUN
Dec 12–21, 2025 - Historic Main Street, Park City
Have you seen this ski bum?
Rip, our mischievous holiday ski bum, has hit the slopes — and the shops — of Main Street, Park City. For 10 days straight, he’s causing mischief in a different local business each morning, from ski shops to boutiques to bakeries.
Each day, we’ll share a clue and a photo hint to help you track him down. Find him in the wild, snap a pic, and post it and tag @historicparkcity on Instagram to join the fun — and be entered to win the daily prize!
He’s small, silly, and usually up to no good.

Meet Rip:
Rip’s been around, just ask him about the powder day of ‘97. He still uses duct tape as ski gear and once got kicked out of a ski shop for waxing his skis with a holiday candle. He believes showering is unnecessary if you hot tub daily and hasn’t paid for a lift ticket since the early 2000s, and has no plans to start now. His hobbies include overstaying his welcome at après, free treats, photo bombing, and napping. Additional insights:
