FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

HISTORIC PARK CITY BUSINESSES ARE OPEN THIS SPRING

Park City, Utah (April 26, 2017) Historic Park City encourages Utah residents to discover Historic Park City this spring.

“If it’s been a while since you’ve visited Historic Park City, we invite you to spend a day with us. You may be surprised at the ease of access, the deals you’ll find, and the diverse offerings for both the every day and the special occasion,” says Michael Barille, Historic Park City Alliance Executive Director. “As the seasons change, the days become warm, the trees begin to bloom, parking is plentiful, and traffic starts to fade into a distant memory.”

This spring, Historic Park City businesses encourage Utah residents to shop, dine, and enjoy entertainment and events in the district. The district will be offering free parking on Main Street by downloading a voucher from www.historicparkcityutah.com. The parking promotion runs through May 26.

Area businesses hope to dispel the myth that Park City is closed. A recent poll of area merchants shows a large majority of merchants remain open.

ABOUT HISTORIC PARK CITY: 'THE MAIN ATTRACTION'

With a thriving business district that boasts more than 250 shops, lodges, restaurants, resort and cultural activities, art galleries and signature events, it's no doubt that Historic Park City is "The Main Attraction." The Historic Park City Alliance (HPCA) is dedicated to promoting Park City's Main Street and surrounding area as a viable, vital and dynamic place to live, work and play while also encouraging business development and enhancing activities that benefit the district.

Nestled in the valley bordered by Deer Valley Resort on one side and ski in, ski out access to Park City Mountain Resort on the other, it is the heart and soul of our mountain town and the epicenter of all that is fun and spontaneous. Historic Park City serves as the backdrop to Park City's annual marquee events including the Sundance Film Festival, Park City Arts Festival, Park City Food & Wine Classic and Savor the Summit. Favorite locals' activities on Main Street include the Park Silly Sunday Market and Friday Night Gallery Stroll.
