HISTORIC PARK CITY RINGS IN HOLIDAY SEASON WITH MAIN STREET FESTIVITIES

Historic Park City is a must-visit destination for couples, families, and friends throughout the holidays. Life-sized snow globes, a jolly Santa pub crawl, and a mischievous ski bum on the loose are just the beginning of all there is to experience on Main Street this time of year, and our local businesses look forward to creating meaningful memories for all to enjoy.

Holiday events and experiences in Historic Park City this season include:

Snow Globe Art Stroll
11/27 – 1/3/26

Take a festive walk down Main Street and into a winter wonderland as the Snow Globe Art Stroll makes its much-loved return — again partnering with local artists to create seven unique winter wonderland scenes within life-sized snow globes, each with a hidden silver snowflake.

Small Business Saturday
11/29

This Small Business Saturday, we invite you to celebrate the heart of Park City—our locally owned shops, boutiques, galleries, and restaurants that make Historic Main Street one of the most vibrant and unique districts in the West. From handcrafted goods and one-of-a-kind gifts to cozy cafés and award-winning dining, Main Street offers something special for everyone on your holiday list. When you shop local, you’re not just checking off gifts—you’re supporting the artists, makers, and small business owners who shape our community year-round.

Holiday Lights Ceremony: A Sparkling Start to the Season
11/29  |. 4 – 6 p.m.

Whether you're a longtime local or visiting for the season, we invite you to celebrate the magic of the holidays as Main Street comes alive with lights, music, and festive cheer.

Join us as we kick off the season in true Park City fashion. Arrive early to enjoy holiday beats from DJ Dolph, spinning uplifting tunes to set the mood from 4–6 p.m.

At 5 p.m., we’ll officially light Main Street’s holiday displays—an annual tradition that transforms the district into a sparkling winter wonderland. The first 200 attendees will receive complimentary holiday light necklaces and candy canes.

Silver & Snow Holiday Window Display Contest
11/29 – 12/24

From Small Business Saturday through Christmas Eve, Main Street visitors are encouraged to vote for their favorite Silver & Snow holiday window display by scanning the snowflake at each participating window. Prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place window displays will be announced on Dec. 26.

Santa Pub Crawl
12/6 | 6 p.m.

Don your best red velvet, elf ears, or antlers and join the merriest crowd in town for a night of festive fun, holiday cheer, and spirited stops at Main Street bars and pubs. The crawl will visit Butcher’s Chop House, Downstairs, Flanagan’s on Main, No Name Saloon, The Cabin, and The Marquis for a grand finale party featuring a live performance from Rage Against the Supremes. Guests are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys or make a donation to benefit the Park City Christian Center to serve local families in need. Must be 21+ to participate.

Santa Comes Down Town Lift
12/12 | 6 p.m.

Santa will be doing a trial run before Christmas and will be making a special public appearance down Park City’s Town Lift. Kids can drop their letters to Santa in Santa’s Mailbox at Miner’s Park to ensure all wishes arrive to the North Pole in time.

Ski Bum on the Run
12/12 – 12/21

This weeklong holiday scavenger hunt invites friends and families to search Main Street for Rip, the mischievous ski bum. Clues to his antics and whereabouts will be posted on HPCA’s website and Instagram each morning. When families search Main Street and find Rip mid-mischief, they can take a photo and post to Instagram with #SkiBumOnTheRun and tag @historicparkcity. Each day, one winner will be randomly selected to win a prize from that day’s host business. Anyone who participates all seven days will be entered to win a larger prize on behalf of the HPCA.
