Historic Park City Seeks Community Voices
Park City, UT (February 18, 2015) – The Historic Park City Alliance, the 501(c)6 not-for-profit corporation comprised of merchants that are directly involved and interested in the issues that affect Park City, Utah’s downtown business district, today announced two new programs designed to encourage community voices to help tell the stories of Historic Park City. The organization seeks blog contributors and will host a video contest.
“Historic Park City is the heart and soul of Park City,” said Alison Butz, Executive Director of the Historic Park City Alliance. “Our intent is to encourage locals and visitors to help us tell the story of our district through both written word and video. Our hope is to encourage creativity and expression in sharing how Historic Park City is special to each and every visitor.”
Blog Contributors: Historic Park City is looking for contributors to share the stories (past and present) of Historic Park City. We want to share insights into Historic Park City lore, events, little known gems, activities, people and places. Contributors can be area residents or Park City visitors. Blog posts will be 500 words and include photos that capture insider knowledge in a well-written format.
Blog contributors are compensated $75 per submission.

Video Contest: Historic Park City is seeking video submissions that illustrate how you live, work, and/or play in Historic Park City. Tell us the story of what makes Historic Park City special to you. Video budgets should be kept at/under $1,000 and submission should be between less than 3:00 in length. Submissions will be accepted through April 15, 2015. The winning submission will receive $1,000.
