JUNE WELCOMES PARK SILLY SUNDAY MARKET & SAVOR THE SUMMIT TO HISTORIC MAIN STREET
Sundays just got sillier with the return of the Park Silly Sunday Market to historic Main Street every weekend in June. The Historic Park City Alliance also invites locals and visitors to explore Main Street by foot with a Historic Walking Tour, or by taste at Utah’s largest outdoor dinner party, Savor the Summit, taking place on Saturday, June 27, 2026.
Park City’s authentic personality comes to life in June with the locally-driven Park Silly Sunday Markets and Savor the Summit, where our appreciation of world-class dining meets our love for our stunning alpine landscape. As spring fades and summer spills in, we invite guests to support our local businesses and celebrate all that this season has to offer.
This month’s events in Historic Park City include:

Given by Dr. Thomas Schwenk, this presentation will discuss common diseases and injuries in Park City’s mining era, the doctors and nurses who cared for the town, and the funding and building of the much-needed Miners Hospital in 1904. Schwenk is a board-certified family physician who practiced in Park City from 1978 to 1984, the first full-time physician in town following the closure of the mines. The lecture will be held at the Park City Museum Education and Collections Center located at 2079 Sidewinder Drive.
Something Rotten! at The Egyptian Theatre
6/3 – 6/7
A hilarious musical comedy set in the Renaissance, where brothers Nick & Nigel Bottom struggle to compete with Shakespeare. Desperate for a hit, they set out to write the world's first musical, leading to outrageous mishaps and show-stopping numbers. This witty celebration of theater is presented by the Ziegfeld Theater. Parental guidance suggested.

I Dreamed I Saw Joe Hill Lecture
6/10 | 5 – 6 p.m.
Given by Sandy Brumley and Emmett Murray on behalf of the Park City Museum and Friends of Ski Mountain Mining History, this lecture is in relation to a new exhibit called Park City Loves a Parade: Our Parades, Processions, and Protests from Past to Present which will be on display at the Park City Museum until April 2027. Baby boomers may recall a song about Joe Hill from 1970 The Woodstock Soundtrack Album. According to that song, Joe Hill never died but lives on “where working folks defend their rights.” In December of 2025, Joe Hill “lived on” in Park City through the Park City Professional Ski Patrol Association (PCPSA) as they successfully went on strike against Vail Resorts. Folks may not know that Joe Hill worked for The Silver King Coalition Mines in the days before the events that led up to his death by firing squad in the Utah State Prison in Sugarhouse. Emmet Murray of the PCPSA will provide some happy details from the ski patrol strike, while Sandy Brumley, local PC history raconteur, will provide the tragic history of Joe Hill. The lecture will be held at the Park City Museum Education and Collections Center, located at 2079 Sidewinder Drive.
Dustbowl Revival at The Egyptian Theatre
6/11 – 6/13
Dustbowl's ever-evolving collective plays a spicy cocktail of folky funk and booty-shaking jangly rock-n-soul, expertly mixing their New Orleans-tinted brass section with their signature Laurel Canyon harmonies and fearless lyrics. The highly successful rock band from the 60s/70s era takes the stage with hits including "Midnight Confessions," "Let's Live for Today," "Two Divided by Love,” and many more. The legacy of The Grass Roots is in the capable hands of current members Dusty Hanvey, Larry Nelson, Joe Dougherty, and Mark Dawson.
The Babys at The Egyptian Theatre
6/24 – 6/26
Celebrating 50 years and led by original member and legendary drummer Tony Brock, the iconic sound of The Babys takes audiences on a nostalgic and scintillating journey of musical craftsmanship and rock & roll.
