Miles Glynn: New Works

Miles Glynn grew up seeing the American West through a car window, the son of an Army photojournalist, trained from childhood to see the world in frames and compositions. That eye never left him.

Working from Marfa, Texas, Glynn builds layered mixed-media paintings from vintage photographs, forgotten advertising, and Western ephemera, combining silkscreen, paint, and collage into works that feel at once deeply familiar and entirely new. The textures of deteriorating buildings, weathered billboards, and desert landscapes find their way into every surface,  documents of time, resilience, and the stories that linger after everything else fades.

His work doesn't ask you to see what he sees. It asks you to find what only you would.
