Historic Park City Alliance Launches #HistoricPC User-Generated Content Contest

Park City, UT (August 21, 2013) – The Historic Park City Alliance, the 501(c)6 not-for-profit corporation comprised of merchants that are directly involved and interested in the issues that affect Park City, Utah’s downtown business district, today announced a user-generated social media contest, #HistoricPC. One winner each month through September 2014 will be selected from user-generated content shared on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and awarded a $50 gift card to Historic Park City.

“The Historic Park City district includes over 250 unique businesses surrounded by picturesque mountains, historic architecture and one-of-a-kind artwork,” said Alison Butz, Executive Director of the Historic Park City Alliance. “Content is being produced and shared from the district multiple times daily. The #HistoricPC social contest will allow us to reward content generators and encourage additional social sharing from the district.”

Users are asked to include the hashtag #HistoricPC on Instagram and Twitter or upload content to the #HistoricPC tab on Facebook (mobile Facebook users can access the contest through http://bit.ly/historicpc). Monthly winners, chosen by members of the Historic Park City Alliance Board of Directors, will be rewarded with a $50 gift card to Historic Park City and featured on the www.historicparkcityutah.com blog. Select content from the contest will be shared every other week on Historic Park City social channels.

Nestled in the valley bordered by Deer Valley Resort on one side and ski in, ski out access to Park City Mountain Resort on the other, it is the heart and soul of our mountain town and the epicenter of all that is fun and spontaneous. Historic Park City serves as the backdrop to Park City's annual marquee events including the Sundance Film Festival, Park City Arts Festival, Park City Food & Wine Classic and Savor the Summit.
